International Conference on Urban Global Management held in Dakhla
DAKHLA, MAR 18 (DNA) – On the occasion of the fourth edition of the Forum on Africa and South-South Cooperation in Dakhla, the Crans Montana Forum organized an International Conference gathering many Mayors from Africa and the rest of the World.
Mayors of African Metropolis met with their counterparts coming from all around the World to share their knowledge and expertise on urban development, urban planning, housing, mobility, waste and waste water treatment, sustainable development and urban security.
This International Conference was Chaired by Mr. Mohamed Boudra, President of the Local Governments Association of Morocco, and moderated by Mr. Jean-Pierre Elong Mbassi, Secretary General of the United Cities and Local Governments of Africa.
The Presidents of Local Governments Association from many African countries took part in this International Conference which addressed the issue of Urban Development, an unavoidable human evolution in view of rural exodus and a key challenge for Africa today.=DNA
