ISLAMABAD, APR 13 /DNA/ – Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has condemned the firing incident on an Excise Department vehicle in the Nowshera. Paying tribute to the two excise officials and the driver who were martyred in the attack, Mohsin Naqvi expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured Sub-Inspector Farooq Bacha.

The Interior Minister saluted the sacrifice of the martyred excise officials, stating that officials Iftikhar, Mujahid, and driver Shabbir laid down their lives in the line of duty and achieved the highest rank of martyrdom. Mohsin Naqvi further stated that the government stands firmly with the families of the martyred officials.
