Ambassador of Japan condemns terrorist attack in Balochistan

ISLAMABAD: MATSUDA Kuninori, Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan, has strongly condemned the brutal massacre of coal mine workers on Sunday in a terrorist attack in Machh area of Bolan district in Balochistan and expressed his sorrow over the loss of precious innocent human lives in the tragic incident.
Expressing his condolences, Ambassador MATSUDA extended his commiseration and heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families, saying, “My thoughts and prayers are with the grieving families of the victims.”
The Ambassador, in his statement, said, “Japan expresses solidarity with the Government of Pakistan and its people over this inhuman act of terrorism. No act of terrorism can be justified for whatever reason or purpose. Japan strongly condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, particularly at this moment when the security situation in Pakistan has been improving considerably. Japan is firmly committed to continuing to support the efforts by the Government of Pakistan to combat terrorism through projects to improve the capacity of government authorities.”
