Indonesian Defence Minister Calls on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met today with the Defence Minister of Indonesia, Lieutenant General (R) Syafrie Samsudin.
Recalling his pleasant interaction with the Honourable President of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, on the sidelines of the G-8 Summit in Cairo, the Prime Minister extended his best wishes to the Indonesian President.
During the meeting, both sides discussed the deep-rooted, historical, fraternal, and friendly bilateral relations between Pakistan and Indonesia.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif noted that Pakistan and Indonesia share longstanding friendly relations based on common cultural, religious, and historical bonds. He added that both countries consistently support each other at international forums.
