India’s supersonic interceptor missile to disturb balance of power: Sartaj
ISLAMABAD, 16 MAY (DNA) – Adviser to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj on Monday said that Indian supersonic interceptor missile test will disturb the balance of power in the region.
In its effort to have a full fledged multi-layer Ballistic Missile Defence system, India on Sunday successfully test-fired its indigenously developed supersonic interceptor missile, capable of destroying any incoming hostile ballistic missile, from a test range off Odisha coast.
Talking to state-run media, Sartaj Aziz said that Pakistan is not oblivious to its defense and will continue to upgrade its defensive capabilities. Pakistan will definitely acquire advanced technology to improve its defense, he added.
He said India is enjoying cooperation of the United States as Washington thinks a strong India is vital to contain China. The Advisor said Pakistan will raise its voice at the international level against these developments. DNA
