SWABI, APR 18, (DNA) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday said those responsible for Mashal Khan’s murder will be given exemplary punishment.

The PTI chief was talking to the family members of Mashal Khan at their home in Swabi while offering his condolence.

PTI chief said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government and police will take all steps to bring the killers of the student to justice.

Imran Khan said that no person will be able to level blasphemy allegations after this incident.

Khan said that it has proved that it was not the issue of blasphemy but a conspiracy against Mashal Khan.

The culprits of the incident will be punished to set an example for the future, he added.

Imran Khan said that he is himself a father and knows the pain of the parents of Mashal.

Those involved in the incident belong to PTI or any other party will be brought to justice, Khan said.

Mashal Khan, a journalism student in Abdul Wali Khan University of Mardan, was murdered by an angry mob accusing him of blasphemy.
