ICT Police ensure security at mosques, Imambargahs during Friday prayers
ISLAMABAD, JUN 19: Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police officers and personnel performed security duties at mosques and Imambargahs across the federal capital on Friday to ensure the safety of worshippers and maintain a peaceful environment.
An official told APP on Friday that comprehensive security arrangements were put in place at mosques and Imambargahs throughout the district in view of Friday prayers and prevailing security requirements.
Police personnel remained deployed at entry and exit points, while security measures were enhanced to facilitate worshippers and prevent any untoward incident.

Officers supervised security arrangements in their respective areas and ensured strict implementation of the prescribed security protocols.
The official said Islamabad Police remained vigilant throughout the day and maintained close coordination with mosque and Imambargah administrations to ensure smooth conduct of religious activities.
Special attention was given to the protection of citizens and maintaining law and order, while police personnel continued monitoring sensitive locations across the capital.
