Hindu extrimists threaten to ‘dig up’ pitch if Pakistan plays at Dharamshala
NEW DELHI, 05 MAR (DNA) – Hindu hard-line group Anti-Terrorist Front of India has threatened to dig the pitch in HPCA stadium if Pakistan team comes to play against Indian team in Dharamshala.
Virender Shandilya, national president of Anti-Terrorist Front of India, said that the Pakistan cricket team should not be allowed to play in the World Twenty20 match against India on March 19.
He threatened, “If the Pakistan team comes to play against India in Dharamshala, we will dig the pitch in HPCA stadium in protest.” Shandilya claimed that he had written letters to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Rajnath Singh in this regard.
He said he will also meet state chief minister Virbhadra Singh and leader of opposition PK Dhumal. “We will launch a major protest against this match in Dharamshala in the coming days,” said Shandilya. DNA
