HEC declares DG NAB Lahore’s degree ‘valid’
LAHORE, DEC 29 (DNA): The Higher Education Commission (HEC) on Saturday declared the degree of National Accountbaility Bureau’s (NAB) director general for Lahore, Shahzad Saleem valid.
According to HEC spokesperson, the degree is 100 percent legal. Saleem had received his MSc degree in 2002 which by no means counterfeit, he added.
The relevant department has also been informed of the development after degree verification.
A copy of a masters degree being associated with Shehzad Saleem made rounds on social media earlier.
However; NAB while terming it “fake” released another copy of what it said was the real degree. The degree has been issued by the now defunct Al-Khair University from Azad Kashmir.
The case was also set to be heard in the Supreme Court in November before the court delisted it, along with some other cases.=DNA
