Health department suspends 18 employees for taking bribe at vaccination center
LAHORE, May 17 (DNA): The health department suspended 18 employees for accepting queue-jumping bribe at vaccination center in Lahore.
According to the Health Department, employees used to take money from people at the Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute and Research Center (PKLI), to save them from queues.
A spokesman for the health department said all employees have been suspended after the allegations were proven during the inquiry. Negligence at the Coronavirus Vaccination Center is unacceptable in any case, he said.
