Harassment allegations: Session court sends notice to Meesha Shafi
LAHORE, (DNA) – Session court in Lahore has sent a legal notice to Pakistani singer Meesha Shafi (Monday) in defamation case filed by actor Ali Zafar.
The claimant said that Meesha Shafi had leveled baseless harassment allegation against Ali Zafar that badly affected his image across the world.
It is to be mentioned here that Ali Zafar had filed a defamation suit worth Rs1 billion against singer Meesha Shafi over hurling harassment allegations.
Zafar’s legal counsel Tariq Rahim went on to say that Meesha’s accusations were aimed at gaining cheap publicity whereas apprising court that latter did not seek apology despite legal notice.
Meesha, in Twitter post, had hurled serious harassment allegation at co-star Ali Zafar.
