Gulalai uttered scathing allegations over ticket refusal: CM Khattak
ISLAMABAD, AUG 02 (DNA) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Pervez Khattak termed allegations of Ayehsa Gulalai as an attempt to vilify provincial government.
He was talking to media as Gulalai leveled scathing allegations against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan and KP government.
“About 15 days ago, Gulalai arrived and sought party ticket for constituency NA-1 whereas she was told that only parliamentary party had jurisdiction to distribute tickets. Upon refusal, Gulalai resorted to issuance of naked threats,” asserted CM Khattak.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Amir Muqam invited Gulalai to join the party whereas he expressed deep regret over deplorable behavior with women in PTI.
“We (PML-N) gave full respect to women and Gullai would be comfortable here,” added Muqam.
On August-1, Gulalai parted ways with PTI citing harassment allegations.
Regretfully, I am informing you that I am quitting the party, she told Dunya News.
