Govt’s priority to provide modern health facilities to citizens: Saira Afzal
ISLAMABAD, 18 JUNE (DNA) – Minister of State for National Health Services Saira Afzal Tarar Saturday said that provision of modern health facilities to the citizens was the top priority of the government.
The government had provided record funds to health sector for imparting modern healthcare facilities in the country, she said while talking to Radio Pakistan.
Billions of rupees would be spent for people’s health during the next financial year she said, adding that special attention would also be paid to the development of remote and backward areas of the country.
Saira Afzal said that a project of mobile health dispensaries was also launched for providing modern healthcare facilities to the poor people of far-flung areas at their doorstep. DNA
