Govt is committed to support the investment climate: Ali Pervaiz
ISLAMABAD, 22 MAY (DNA) — Federal Minister for Petroleum Mr. Ali Pervaiz Malik held a meeting with President Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Mr. Faheem ur Rehman to discuss matters related to the business environment, investment facilitation, and the energy supply situation in the country.
During the meeting, the Federal Minister reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to supporting the investment climate and ensuring maximum facilitation for the business community. He stated that the Government is taking practical steps to promote economic stability, encourage investment, and strengthen coordination with relevant stakeholders.
President LCCI Faheem ur Rehman appreciated the Federal Government’s diplomatic efforts and stated that Pakistan has demonstrated responsible and effective diplomacy in the prevailing regional situation. He also commended the Ministry of Petroleum for ensuring continuity of supply and efficient handling of the situation despite disruptions caused by the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
Faheem ur Rehman particularly praised Federal Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik for his proactive leadership and effective management in addressing energy-related challenges and ensuring stability for the industrial and commercial sectors. He also shared suggestions and proposals from the business community aimed at further improving the investment environment and addressing key issues faced by industries.— DNA
