Govt decides to conduct matriculation, intermediate exams twice a year
Islamabad : Government has decided to conduct matriculation and intermediate level examinations twice a year, due to current Covid-19 situation.
This was announced by Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mehmood while talking about the important decisions taken in 32nd Inter Provincial Education Ministers Conference, in Islamabad.
He said the matriculation examinations will be held in May and June while intermediate exams in October and November.
He said next academic year would start from August 22. However, O and A level exams would be taken as per schedule.
The Minister said universities across the country have also been directed to open admissions twice a year to accommodate students during the pandemic.
