ISLAMABAD, Oct 08 (APP): Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani Wednesday, paid rich tribute to the Security Forces for successfully eliminating 19 Indian-sponsored terrorists in Orakzai.

The Chairman Senate, in a statement, commended the bravery and dedication of the forces and expressed deep reverence for Lieutenant Colonel Junaid, Major Tayyab, and nine soldiers who embraced martyrdom during the courageous operation.

 He said that the nation takes great pride in the sacrifices of its brave sons.

Expressing heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the families of the martyrs, the Chairman Senate said that their sacrifices will never be forgotten.

He also prayed for the swift recovery of the injured soldiers. Gilani said, “Our officers and soldiers, by risking their lives, have foiled the nefarious designs of the terrorists. The entire nation stands shoulder-to-shoulder with its Security Forces in the fight to eradicate terrorism.”

The Chairman Senate reaffirmed that the nation, the government, and the Armed Forces of Pakistan are united in their resolve to uproot terrorism from the country.
