German embassy’s charity market surplus catalyzes 3 million PKR for local welfare

ISLAMABAD, FEB 2: /DNA/ – This week, the German Embassy in Islamabad proudly handed over the proceeds from last year’s highly successful Charity Christmas Market to deserving organizations. With an impressive total of 3 million PKR, the surplus from the market going towards donations could even be doubled compared with 2022.
His Excellency Alfred Grannas, along with Embassy Representatives, met with esteemed organizations including the Master Ayub School, Aaghosh Mera Ghar, Haashar Association, Al-Firdous Welfare Association, Rawalpindi Leprosy Hospital, and MOM – Music on Mission to formally present the charitable donations. During the meetings, the recipient organizations showcased their plans for utilizing the funds for various charitable causes and expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the German Ambassador for this generous contribution.
Ambassador Grannas was impressed by the impactful work carried out by these organizations: “I am delighted to learn that our proceeds are being directed towards exceptional projects that are creating a positive difference in society,” he stated.
