KARACHI, MAY 18, (DNA) – An explosion damaged the Sui gas pipelines near Madinatul Hikmat area of Manghopir in early hours of Thursday.

Sui Officials said that the explosion damaged the 16-inch diameter gas pipeline. Gas supply to Manghopir and nearby areas has been cut due to the incident.
No casualties have been reported in the incident and repair work is underway.

Around 500-600 grammes of explosive material was used in the incident, said bomb disposal squad.

Similar incidents have taken place in the past. A gas pipeline was blown up by miscreants in 2015.
