France lauds Pakistan’s efforts in combating terrorism
ISLAMABAD, (DNA) – Pakistan and France have agreed to further enhance ties in different spheres including trade, economy, defense, education and culture.
The understanding came at a meeting between Foreign Minister Abdullah Hussain Haroon and the French Secretary General of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maurice Gourdault-Montagne in Islamabad on Wednesday.
The Foreign Minister on the occasion highlighted Pakistan’s achievements in the field of democracy, trade, economy, business, law and order and security environment. He also highlighted efforts aimed at securing peace and stability in the region and neighborhood.
The French Secretary General expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s efforts in combating the menace of terrorism and extremism, and stressed the need for a coordinated international response in this regard.
