Four security personnel injured in Quetta blast
QUETTA, JAN 02, (DNA) – At least four Frontier Constabulary personnel were injured in a ‘roadside blast’ targeting their vehicle near Southern Bypass in the Balochistan capital.
The injured personnel were moved to Combined Military Hospital (CMH). The nature of the blast could not be determined as yet.
The law enforcement personnel immediately reached the site and cordoned off the area for investigation.
Law and order in Quetta has not been on the decrease as targeted killings and roadside blasts are often reported from the province.
Balochistan is also a key link in a $46 billion transport and trade corridor between Pakistan and China, which hinges on a deep-water port in Gwadar.=DNA
