Former MQM senator Allama Abbas Kumaili passes away
KARACHI, JUNE 08 (DNA) – Chief of Jafria Alliance Pakistan (JAP) and former Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) senator Allama Abbas Kumaili passed away in Karachi on Saturday.
Eminent religious scholar was being treated for his cardiac complications at a private hospital in the Soldier Bazaar area.
Kumaili preached constructive and positive harmony among different religious schools of thought by using Majlis-e-Wahdatul Muslimeen’s (MWM) platform.
MWM council expressed their condolences on the passing of esteemed scholar holding him as a national asset.
MWM leader Allama Raja Nasir Abbas expressed grief over the demise of Kumaili saying he has always stayed a strong advocate of unity among Muslims.
He also praised him for raising his voice against the oppression on people of Kashmir and Palestine.=DNA
