Foreigners including envoys visited Takht bhayi

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister Atif Khan accompanied by diplomats from different countries and their families to visit Takht Bhai’s archeological site in Mardan district on Saturday.
During the visit, Director Archeology Dr. Abdul Samad gave a detailed briefing to the diplomats regarding archeology and its preservation.
Deputy Commissioner Mardan Habib ullah Arif has received the foreigners delegation on arrival. Mr. Leopoldo Ambassador of Argentine, Mr. Suh Sangpyo Ambassador of South Korea, Mr. Manuel Duran Ambassador of Spain, Mr. Mohammed Karmoune Ambassador of Morocco, and other foreign guests visited the archeological site with their families.
Atif Khan briefing the visitors said that Pakistan is a beautiful country, Takht Bhai is of great importance not only for the world but also for Pakistan. The positive image will be further enhanced and employment opportunities will be created through religious tourism.
The delegation of ambassadors appreciated the steps taken by Government to preserve archeological sites and promote tourism.
