Foreign funding case: PTI submits more documents in ECP
ISLAMABAD (DNA) – Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) has submitted more documents in party’s foreign funding case in Election Commission of Pakistan.
ECP will hear PTI foreign funding case on daily basis while PML-N and PPP have been asked to submit details in 3 and 2 days respectively.
PTI’s new lawyer Shah Khawar submitted the documents in ECP.
ECP’s scrutiny committee handed over a questionnaire to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) regarding party funding.
The scrutiny committee has directed PML-N to submit its reply over the questionnaire and scheduled the next session on Friday. ECP asked PML-N to submit details if any company is registered in UK.
ECP also directed PPP to submit details of its foreign accounts including those registered in US.
Both parties were asked to submit ID cards of those who donate money to these parties.
