FM Qureshi reaffirms Pakistan’s commitment for peace in Afghanistan
ISLAMABAD (DNA) – Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi reaffirmed Pakistan commitment to play its role for the Afghan peace process including maintaining peace in the region.
Talking to Afghan Deputy Foreign Minister Idrees Zaman in Islamabad today (Tuesday), he urged the need for making the Afghanistan-Pakistan Action Plan for Peace and Solidarity forum more effective.
The Afghan Deputy Foreign Minister appreciated the efforts of Pakistan for establishment of peace in Afghanistan.
During the meeting, matters pertaining to bilateral relations, mutual interests including Afghan peace process came under discussion.
