FM Qureshi off to New York to attend UN General Assembly session

ISLAMABAD (DNA) – Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi left for New York in the wee hours of Saturday to attend the 73rd session of the United Nation General Assembly.
Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua also accompanied him on the visit to attend the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly, which began on September 18.
The high-level General Assembly debate, however, begins on September 25 and is scheduled to last for nine working days. Foreign Minister Qureshi is expected to address the General Assembly on September 29.
Earlier, Shah Mehmood Qureshi reached Islamabad Airport without any protocol. He waited in queue with other passengers to complete the boarding process. The passengers present at the airport were pleased to see the Foreign Minister among them and some of them also clicked selfies with him.
