FM Qureshi briefs Azerbaijan counterpart about human rights situation in occupied Kashmir
ISLAMABAD, AUG 28 (DNA) – Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has telephoned his Azerbaijan counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov on Wednesday to apprise him about the serious situation in Occupied Kashmir.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi informed his counterpart that India has abrogated special status of Occupied Kashmir by taking unilateral steps and violating the UN Security Council Resolutions.
He said despite the presence of 700,000 troops in Occupied Kashmir, further deployment of 1,80,000 troops is a proof that India is on the verge of going to conduct a genocide of Kashmiris.
Foreign Minister said India wants to change the demographic composition of Occupied Kashmir through unilateral and illegal steps.
Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan expressed his serious concern over the situation of Occupied Kashmir and emphasized the need to peaceful resolution of unsettled disputes in the region.
