Fire in Rawalpindi’s cylinder shop burns two
RAWALPINDI , (DNA) – At least two people suffered minor burns on Monday after a cylinder shop located at Rawalpindi’s Glass Factory road caught fire.
According to rescue officials, the fire erupted after a blast occurred in the illegal shop due to gas leakage. However; the blaze intensity increased followed by explosion of additional cylinders.
The adjacent buildings to the shop were evacuated in the aftermath of the huge inferno in the area.
At least six fire tenders extinguished the blaze after hectic efforts of one hour.
The fire caused major damages to a two-storey building and minor injuries to two people.
They were shifted to hospital after first medical aid.
