FIH Pro League: Centre approves Rs250m grant for Pakistan hockey
ISLAMABAD, AUG 27: The federal government has approved a grant of Rs250 million for the Pakistan hockey team’s participation in the forthcoming FIH Pro League.
According to details, the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) has issued a notification of the grant approval. The PSB has asked the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) to issue the collective plan within three days of time.
According to the plan, it will be compulsory to provide the details of thee Pakistan’s team travel schedule, logistic facilities, administrative affairs and training.
It is pertinent to note that the federal government has approved an aggregate fund of Rs400 million. Out of the total fund, Rs250 million has been allocated to the PHF.
The remaining Rs150 million has been allocated to the first National Youth Games in Islamabad.
