FIFA’s Digital coverage at the World Cup

MOSCOW, (DNA) – The 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ is right around the corner and, whether you will be at the matches or anywhere around the world, FIFA’s Digital offerings will be here to ensure you enjoy every aspect of the world finals. We will be delivering exclusive and diverse content across multiple platforms to bring the passion and intensity of the World Cup to you.

Here is everything you can expect from FIFA’s comprehensive digital coverage of the World Cup:

Follow your team
FIFA Digital has embedded a FIFA Team Reporter with each of the competing 32 teams. Our diverse groups of team reporters will deliver exclusive and unparalleled content in a variety of languages as well as the team’s native language. They will share their experiences, stories and multimedia content across FIFA.com and all of our channels on social media. The team reporters will capture your nation’s World Cup experience and share it with the world.

Unforgettable Match Experience
FIFA Digital will be running a unique Live Blog for every single match at Russia 2018 across six languages. The Live Blog will bring you exclusive and comprehensive coverage of each match in real-time. You will experience all of the important details of every game with thorough coverage before, during and after the match, including match highlights and goal videos.

The Live Blog will bring you closer to the action than anywhere else: from integrated exclusive content of our team reporters, fascinating behind the scenes images of our photographers, which will be live faster than anywhere else, and a wealth of multimedia content from our video team, who will bring you live press conferences, post-match player interviews and more. The Live Blog for each match will start up to three days before kick-off and only close once the stadium lights are switched off and the last fans have drifted out the stadium gates. Will you follow the games on TV? Use it as a second-screen, follow on your phone, or experience it as your primary match feed to see what nobody else can show you thanks to our exclusive access.

Our Live Blogs will give you an unforgettable match experience. Make sure you also check out our innovative new approach to daily storytelling: visual cards on FIFA.com.

You can also keep up-to-date with everything that is going on at Russia 2018 with our newly renovated FIFA App, which is now focused on this year’s World Cup. Follow your favourite teams and get push notifications for the most important events during the whole tournament on your mobile device. Our brand new App design allows you to access the best features, videos and more! Download it now for iOS and Android.

FIFA Digital will bring you closer to all of the unforgettable moments from the 64 matches at the biggest sporting event in the world. You may occasionally find some stars ‘taking over’ our accounts too.

In 2018 we are more than doubling the number of languages we use to connect with football fans around the world, including match reports in International Sign Language.

We’ll bring you the latest from the 12 stadiums, transport you around Russia to the FIFA Fan Fests, showcase the best of FIFA’s sustainability projects, and, together with the Local Organising Committee, ensure our community responses guide fans in Russia (and at home) with helpful tips and advice.

And, if you were unlucky in trying to buy a ticket, look out for some exciting competitions, where you could still be in Russia for the semi-finals and final.

Twitter will be your go-to social media platform on a match-day. On Facebook, we will have 32 community fan groups dedicated to each country. Instagram will showcase the most beautiful images across the host country, as well as beyond its borders. And our daily curated Instagram Story will take you closer behind-the-scenes, than ever before.
