FIA arrested 388 notorious human traffickers
SIALKOT, NOV 03 (DNA) – Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested as many as 388 notorious human traffickers including 15 proclaimed offenders (POs), besides, arresting as many as 274 accused persons deported from different countries during the last month (October) of this year.
Khalid Anees (FIA Divisional Deputy Director) told the newsmen that the FIA also recovered Rs.23.3 million from these accused, which they had taken from local people for sending them abroad illegally after showing them the golden dreams of their lucid future in abroad.
He said that on the special directives of the Director FIA Punjab Lahore Usman Anwar Ghani, the FIA has tightened its circle around the human traffickers, their agents and sub agent for elimination of the human trafficking in Gujranwala Division’s all the six Sialkot, Narowal, Gujrat, Mandi Bahaud Din, Hafizabad and Gujranwala districts in active cooperation with the people as well.=DNA
