LAHORE, SEPT 07 (DNA) – The Friends of Economic and Business Reforms (FEBR) condemning illegal annexation of Occupied Kashmir by India, on Saturday expressed full solidarity and support to the heroic and brave struggle of the Kashmiris by the business community, resisting repression and military might with their spirit and determination.

On this occasion, appreciating China’s support on Kashmir issue, FEBR President Kashif Anwar, also stated that Pakistan deeply values China’s defence cooperation and support on issues of its national security.

Kashif Anwar urged the government and all stakeholders to formulate a coherent national strategy and national stamina to sustain that strategy, said a statement.

He said that Pakistan and China continued to closely consult and coordinate for the promotion of peace and stability in the region and maintenance of strategic balance.

He highlighted India’s illegal and unilateral actions of August 5, the continuing indefensible lockdown of millions of Kashmiris in the occupied valley for last almost four weeks, the dire human rights and the humanitarian situation there, and the threat to peace and security posed by India’s actions.

He underlined that India can stage a false flag operation to divert the world’s attention from its crimes. He reiterated that the curfew in Held Kashmir must be immediately lifted and the international human rights organizations be allowed to visit the valley to have an objective assessment of the humanitarian tragedy unfolding there.

He also underscored that the brutal suppression of human rights in Kashmir have the potential to spark a wave of extremism and India’s reckless actions can destabilize the region immeasurably.

Kashif Anwar said India is facing unprecedented diplomatic humiliation which is a victory for Pakistan. He noted that Modi’s move has initiated the process of disintegration of a divided country while tensions with Pakistan will destroy its economy and credibility.

He warned that depriving Pakistan of its share of water will be the last mistake of Hindu radicals who have changed secular India into an extremist state.

He said this annexation is an attempt to undermine the United Nations Charter, International Law and relevant UN Security Council Resolutions which seek the inalienable right of self-determination for the people of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

In pursuance of his fascist and racist agenda which is inspired by Nazi Germany, since this fascist mindset and practices are similar, the regime of Narendera Modi is committing another grave crime against humanity by turning occupied Kashmir into the world’s biggest and most brutal concentration camp, with imposing curfew and it’s completed lock-down, closing of all communications, with thousands Kashmiris arrested, kidnapped, maimed or martyred or raped.

Traders also express our appreciation to all other Parliamentarians, Civil Society, Intelligentsia, Media, Human Rights organizations, all over the world, who support the just and heroic struggle of the oppressed people of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Kashif Anwar underlined that the South Asia region needs stability and economic development and resolution of outstanding disputes, and appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in advancing these goals.=DNA
