Farooq Sattar says MQMP’s vote bank ‘intact, will remain so’
KARACHI – While responding to Mustafa Kamal’s verbal onslaught, Muttahida Quami Movement Pakistan (MQMP) Chief Farooq Sattar has on Saturday claimed that vote bank of his party remains intact.
Sattar urged supporters not to pay heed to Mustafa Kamal’s provocations and remain calm. “I condemned and lambasted those who chanted anti-Pakistan slogans and had done so willfully”, added Sattar.
“He (Mustafa Kamal) has announced detachment from Muhajirs. Kamal knows that game is getting out of his controls,” stated Sattar.
While responding to question, Sattar says difference of opinion with party’s leaders is his personal matter. “I presented myself for accountability on Nov-9 and will appear at any court,” Sattar said while adding, “Family members of Dr. Imran Farooq are present with us”.
