Fake trust deed: Accountability court turns down NAB’s plea against Maryam Nawaz
ISLAMABAD (DNA) – Accountability court on Friday has turned down petition of National Accountability Bureau (NAB), claiming Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz had produced a bogus trust deed in Avenfield reference.
During the proceedings, judge Mohammad Bashir declared anti-corruption watchdog’s appeal as inadmissible and ruled that no action can be taken in this regard until the decision of Islamabad High Court (IHC).
Maryam Nawaz, while wearing shirt having words ‘Free Nawaz Sharif’, arrived at the court amid PML-N workers’ slogans against incumbent government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
