Fake Accounts Case: NAB summons Bilawal, Asif Zardari on March 20
ISLAMABAD (DNA) – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Friday summoned former president and Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on March 20 in Fake Account Case.
The anti-graft watchdog has issued notices to Asif Zardari and Bilawal. The notices stated that their statement needs to be recorded as the investigation into fake accounts case is underway, so they must appear before the Investigation Team and record their statements.
The PPP chairman and co-chairman have been directed to bring along the details of their companies and accounts.
It is pertinent here to mention that the accused had to get interim bail after banking court rejected their bails.
Earlier today, banking court had transferred money laundering case against Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur to Rawalpindi from Karachi.
While announcing the reserved verdict, the court has directed to shift the case to Rawalpindi for further hearings.
Previously, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had decided to summon Bilawal Bhutto, Asif Ali Zardari and Faryal Talpur in fake bank accounts case.
Chief Minister of Sindh will also be summoned soon for the interrogation, the sources told.
