Exotic birds, rare blooms captivate visitors at CDA event

ISLAMABAD, APR 20 /DNA/ – On the directions of the Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, the Environment Wing of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) organized a three-day “Flower and Birds Exhibition 2025 from 18 to 20 April at Rose & Jasmine Garden in Islamabad. Thousands of visitors, flower enthusiasts and nature lovers not only visited the exhibition but also placed orders worth millions of rupees for flowers. A large number of citizens from Islamabad participated enthusiastically and enjoyed the priceless spring blooms.
According to details, the flower exhibition featured rare and colorful flowers brought from across the country, along with various species of exotic birds, which captivated the visitors. Children and young people in particular, thoroughly enjoyed the beauty of the flowers and the chirping of the birds. As per special arrangements by the Environment Wing, the exhibition included a variety of rare flowers and birds.
At the “Flower and Birds” exhibition 2025 the CDA also arranged various cultural and recreational activities for children, including horse and buggy rides as well as jumping castles. Similarly, refreshment stalls and souvenir shops remained a major attraction for visitors.
On this occasion, Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, directed the Environment Wing to organize such exhibitions regularly and expand their scope further. He stated that we should strive to hold such cultural and recreational activities regularly in all major parks of Islamabad so that citizens can enjoy high-quality and unique entertainment opportunities.
Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad further stated that this exhibition not only highlights the natural beauty and charm of Islamabad but also serves as an excellent platform to promote eco-friendly activities among citizens. Our effort is to make Islamabad as a clean, green, and beautiful city acknowledged worldwide.
