Ex Pakistan High Commissioner to India launches his book amid presence of diplomats

KARACHI – “Hostility: A Diplomat’s Diary on Pakistan-India Relations and More is not a memoir but a critical account of what happened in Pakistan-India relations during my eventful stint in New Delhi as Pakistan High Commissioner”, said H.E Mr. Abdul Basit. He was speaking at his book launch that was jointly organized by the Pakistan Council on Foreign Relations (PCFR) and the Institute of Business Management (IoBM) on Saturday, July 3, 2021.
While addressing veteran diplomats and corporate executives at IoBM, H.E Mr. Basit, former High Commissioner of Pakistan to India, shared insights into the Pakistan-India relations that always attract global attention. Present on the occasion were Mr. Talib Karim, President IoBM; Mr. Shahid Amin, former Ambassador and Chairman PCFR; and Mr. Ahsan Mukhtar Zubairi, Secretary General and CEO, PCFR. The vote of thanks was delivered by former Ambassador and Vice Chairman PCFR, Mr. Jamil Ahmed Khan (Sitara-i-Imtiaz).
