EU supports medical workers of Uzbekistan
The European Union has allocated more than 2 million euros to Uzbekistan to implement a project aimed at supporting effective and coordinated response measures to COVID-19.
The project, which will be implemented by WHO Country Office, is primarily focused on providing personal protective equipment to medical workers who are in direct contact with patients in medical institutions.
The project will help strengthen infection prevention by purchasing a sufficient number of high-quality personal protective equipment for medical workers in the country over the next two years.
