ISLAMABAD, AUG 31 (DNA) – The winners of essay completion titiled “what do you know about Azerbaijan”, visited Azerbaijan.

The visitors comprising young talent of Pakistan were taken to various parts of the country and shown difference historical sites of Azerbaijan.

They were also given a briefing about Pakistan, Azerbaijan relations. The visitors enjoyed the trip and appreciated hospitality of Azerbiajni people.

It may be mentioned here that Ali Alizade, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan, had met with the winners at his office before their departure to Azerbaijan.

On the occasion of his meeting with the six competition winners, Alizade expressed gratitude towards the Pakistani youth for showing interest in the competition.

He also praised them for taking part in the essay writing contest 2019, which was organized under the Youth and Sport of Azerbaijan, with support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Additionally, from the thousands of essays that were submitted, six promising essays were finalized as the winners from across Pakistan.=DNA
