Erdogan telephones Mamnoon, assures support after Trump’s tirade
ISLAMABAD, JAN 03 (DNA) – Turkish president Erdogan has telephoned President Mamnoon Hussain on Wednesday and assured of every possible support objecting to United States (US) president Donald Trump’s criticism on Pakistan.
According to the details let out by the President House, his Turkish counterpart hailed Pakistan’s sacrifices in war on terror as historic and unmatched.
He said that Pakistan and Turkey stand by each other side to side in all kinds of situations.
President Hussain thanked the Turkish president for extending support and said that Pakistan feels proud of the love Turkey has shown.
Pakistan believes in a policy that is rooted in cooperation but United States (US) did not value Pakistan’s efforts and sentiments, he added.
The president further said that Pakistan would respond to inappropriate message of the States with a proper message.
