England’s rising star claims he can’t wait to play in Pakistan

England’s rising star, Liam Livingstone, is eagerly awaiting the start of the fourth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL), which is scheduled to begin from 14th February.
The captain of England’s local county team Lancashire, Livingstone will wear the Karachi Kings colors.
The 25-year-old has represented England in 2 T20Is and remains a crucial figure in their domestic circuit. He was recruited by Karachi Kings back in November thanks to Wasim Akram, the Karachi Kings president.
Speaking to media, Liam Livingstone said:
I am delighted to have been chosen by Karachi Kings for the upcoming PSL tournament. I have heard a lot of good things about this competition and it’s great that the tournament is being played in Dubai and Pakistan.
Liam also said that his Lancashire performance against UAE last year came in handy as Wasim Akram was also present at that game. He claimed that Wasim spoke to him after the game and not only encouraged him but also gave a couple of tips.
Speaking about the passion of cricket in Pakistan, he said:
I do feel that it’s very exciting for the PSL to be going back to Pakistan and yes I would jump at the opportunity to get out to Pakistan and play in the stadiums in a country where cricket is like a religion.
