Embassy of Pakistan to France values role of Paris based Pakistani Journalists
PARIS, OCT 23 (DNA) – Embassy of Pakistan to France deeply values the important role of Paris based Pakistan Journalists for promoting and safeguarding Pakistan’s interests in France.
This was stated by the Ambassador of Pakistan to France Mr. Moin ul Haque while addressing the oath taking ceremony of the newly elected members of the Pakistan Press Club Paris France held in the suburb of Paris, yesterday.
The Ambassador said that the constitution of Pakistan guarantees freedom of Press, which as the fourth pillar of the state plays a very important role for strengthening the democracy and democratic institutions.
He thanked the Paris based Pakistan media for their positive role in keeping the Pakistani community informed about developments and progress of Pakistan and keeping the government of Pakistan informed about the problems faced by the Pakistani community.
The Ambassador congratulated the newly elected members of the club and called upon them to follow the dictates of their oath and continue to serve the country and its people through responsible and objective reporting.
