Elections in IHK, Afghanistan under Indian-US patronage not solutions to problems: JI
LAHORE, Oct 22 (DNA): Secretary General, Jamaat e Islami, Liaqat Baloch, has said that bogus elections in Held Kashmir and Afghanistan under the patronage of India and the US were not the solution of the problems there.
Talking to the media at a wedding, he said that the people of Kashmir must be allowed the right of self determination and the Afghans should be given the right to decide their future by their free will.
He said that the brutalities of the occupation troops in held Kashmir had crossed al limits and dozens of Kashmiri were being martyred every day. He said that the Foreign Minister Shah Mehmud Qureshi had been silent after delivering a good speech in the UN General Assembly.
He said that continuous efforts were needed on the diplomatic front to expose Indian excesses.
Commenting on the domestic situation, he said that the PTI government seemed to have flopped and the Opposition would have to unite.
