Elections for 52 Senate seats to be held on March 2
ISLAMABAD, NOV 28 (DNA) – The elections for 52 Senate seats will be held on March 2, 2018, and the schedule is likely to be announced in the second week of February.
According to details, the new members of the Senate would take oath on March 11, 2018, as the 52 current members, including Chairman Raza Rabbani, Aitzaz Ahsan and Ishaq Dar, would complete their tenure on the aforementioned date.
Mushahid Hussain, Azam Khan Swati, Talha Mehmood, Shahi Syed, Ilyas Ahmad, Farhatullah Babar, Rubina Khalid, Zulfiqar Khosa, Asif Kirmani, Murtaza Wahab, Tahir Mashhadi, Farogh Naseem, Taj Haider, Kamran Michael, Osman Saifullah, Hafiz Hamdullah and Israrullah Khan Zehri were among the other members to complete their term.
