Eight injured in blast at Peshawar’s Akbar Medical Centre
PESHAWAR, JUN 01 (DNA) – At least eight people were injured as a blast rocked Peshawar’s Akbar Medical Centre on Friday.
According to sources, the injured, three of whom are in critical condition, have been moved to Lady Reading Hospital. The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Police has reached the incident site while bomb disposal unit has also been called in. The police cordoned off the area.
The medical centre is situated in a busy area of the city. The nature of the blast has not been ascertained yet.
