Eid-ul-Adha gas load shedding schedule announced
KARACHI, JUN 6: Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has released a special gas load shedding schedule for Eid-ul-Adha, providing partial relief to Karachi residents during the festive holidays.
According to a statement issued by the utility company, gas supply will be shut down at midnight (12am) on Friday, June 6 — slightly later than the usual shutdown time of 9:30pm.
On Saturday, June 7, which marks the first day of Eid-ul-Adha, the gas supply will be restored at 5am and will remain uninterrupted throughout the day.
Likewise, there will be no gas shutdown on Sunday, June 8, ensuring a steady supply for the second day of Eid.
For Monday, June 9, the third day of Eid, the gas will be available all day and will continue until midnight.
The company confirmed that from Tuesday, June 10, the gas load shedding schedule will revert to its regular timings.
