Effective steps being taken to check the spread of coronavirus: Firdous
Lahore : Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Information Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has said effective steps are being taken to check the spread of coronavirus.
Talking to the media in Lahore, she said capacity of government hospitals to deal with the corona situation is continuously improving.
She said a target has been set to vaccinate more than 20,000 citizens daily while the vaccination process of elderly people above 60 years of age is in full swing across Punjab.
She urged people to take precautionary measures against coronavirus and wear face masks.
The SACM said the registration process is underway for the vaccination of people above 50 years.
She said Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has directed to set up a separate stall for distribution of sugar at Ramadan bazaars and has also taken notice over the violation of corona SOPs.
