Earthquake jolts Lahore, Islamabad and other parts of country
ISLAMABAD, JAN 31 (DNA) – Several parts of the country felt earthquake tremors this morning, triggering fear among the citizens. The intensity of quake is reportedly recorded a 6.1 magnitude.
It is reported that around nine people have been injured in quake jolts in different cities. Initial reports said the magnitude is around 6.1 while epicenter of the quake is in Hindukash region.
Peshawar, Mansehra, Hunza, Lahore, Chakwal and other cities also felt the tremors.
Tremors were also reported in Peshawar and Abbottabad, as well as in Balochistan. The quake also jolted parts of neigbouring countries, India and Pakistan.
It was so intensive that people came out from houses and offices in several cities of Punjab, KP, and Balochistan.
Several houses collapsed in Lasbela where one child was killed and nine peoples were injured.
