Dr Sattar urges govt to observe sanctity of institutions

KARACHI, OCT 14 (DNA) – Dr Farooq Sattar of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan has urged the federally ruling party on Saturday to respect the sanctity of institutions and that sanctity of the courts have suffered owing to the clash.

Dr Sattar talked to the media after appearing for a hearing of a case against him in anti-terrorism court and complained that the government of Sindh was not allowing space to Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan to conduct politics.

He demanded off the chief minister to take notice of alleged partisanship.

MQM Pakistan chief pointed out that no brigade of workers follows him to the court hearings unlike what happens in Islamabad.

He demanded off Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz to not damage political and democratic process. Dr Sattar said that it is not in the best interest of Pakistan to not appear for case hearings.

However, he said that Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan would maintain a working relationship with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.
