Dr Ameer Jogezai refuses PTI’s offer of Balochistan governorship
QUETTA, (DNA) – Dr Ameer Muhammad Khan Jogezai on Saturday evening refused Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) offer of Balochistan governorship.
In a video message, he said that he was thankful to Prime Minister Imran Khan and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) for putting their faith in him.
He said that there has been no case registered against him since 2005.
Dr Jogezai’s refusal comes after the PTI leadership decided to appoint Dr Ameer Muhammad Khan Jogezai as the new Balochistan governor.
Dr Jogezai is a paediatrician by profession and has also served as the registrar in Quetta’s Bolan Medical College.

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had started an inquiry against Dr Ameer Jogezai, the then chief executive officer of Kidney Centre, Quetta.
