DNA staffer looted in broad day light
ISLAMABAD, FEB 7 (DNA) – Sub- Editor of Diplomatic News Agency (DNA) Farukh Shahezda was robbed on Thursday morning by four unknown persons.
According to Faruukh, he was heading home from office in the G 8 Markaz by foot. He was carrying his laptop and other valuables with him.
He informed he had covered just a 100 yards distance from his office on Thursday at around 11 am that a car stopped near him and four people came out of the card.
They asked him to hand him over his laptop and cash, which he did without any resistance as they threatened him of dire consequences.
It may be mentioned here that G 8 Markaz is a densely populated area crowded with car showrooms and restaurants.
Crime rate in the Capital has increased immensely during past few months, despite police department tall claims that it had taken ‘foolproof’ measures to check criminal activities.=DNA
